Review:

This is book five in Colleen Hoover’s Hopeless series. However, I read this as a standalone without any issues.

This is set during the Thanksgiving break from college. A group of friends are planning a Friendsgiving dinner. Daniel and Six are going through some tough times in there relationship. During this time Daniel does everything he can for Six and their relationship.

The devotion that Daniel has to Six is pretty amazing. I hope you to have that kind of love in your life. There is something great that Hoover touches on in this story. To tell a story that is so hard for people and make it end so happily is nice to see.

I know the characters are young and still learning so much in life and Colleen captured both the complexity of the age and the childlike side of them as well.

The difficult issues in this book may make it hard for some people to read though. These include adoption, separation from a child, one night stands, and communication issues within a relationship. This definitely gave me the feels and made me tear up a few times.

If you enjoy hard topics, secrets and family and friend bonding than this is a great pick. It is a short novella that will bring you to tears if your anything like me.

I enjoyed reading this story as and may pick up the other books in this series.
